How the language works
Prepositions of place: på, i, hos, vid
I = inside, or in cities/countries: i Sverige, i Malmö, i lägenheten. På = on a surface, at an institution or workplace: på Skatteverket, på jobbet, på banken, på bordet. Hos = at someone's place or with a person/service: hos läkaren, hos Försäkringskassan, hos mina föräldrar. Vid = near, by: vid stationen, vid fönstret. Direction: till (Jag går till Skatteverket), från (ett brev från Skatteverket).
