How the language works
Questions: question words and yes/no questions
Yes/no questions start with the verb: Har du feber? Är du sjuk? Questions with question words: vad (what), var (where), vart (where to), när (when), vem (who), hur (how), varför (why), vilken/vilket/vilka (which). The question word comes first, the verb directly after: Var gör det ont? Hur länge har du hostat? Varför ringer du? Answer yes/no questions with 'Ja, det har jag' or 'Nej, det är jag inte'.
