Chapter 13 · Traditions and holidays
När kastas julgranen traditionellt ut?
When is the Christmas tree traditionally thrown out?
Correct answer: On St Knut's Day
St Knut's Day falls on 13 January, and the saying goes that “on St Knut's Day Christmas is danced out”. Epiphany on 6 January, by contrast, is a public holiday when many people are off work.
