How is responsibility divided between hospital care and elder care?
Correct answer: The region handles hospital care; the municipality handles elder care
The region has primary responsibility for hospital care, while the municipality is responsible for elder care. An older person may therefore receive support from both levels. Setting national laws does not make the state responsible for every local and regional service.
