What does the state’s responsibility for children’s rights in Sweden mean?

Sweden must take measures to implement children’s rights. Authorities, courts, municipalities and regions must therefore consider them in their work, while guardians retain their responsibilities. Protection includes preventing physical and psychological violence and sexual abuse of children.
