Chapter 1 · The country Sweden
Vilken hastighet gäller inom tättbebyggt område om inget annat är skyltat?
What speed limit applies in a built-up area if nothing else is signposted?
Correct answer: 50 km/h
Outside built-up areas the limit is 70 km/h unless otherwise signposted, and on motorways usually 110 or 120. Near schools and playgrounds it is often lowered to 30.
