Chapter 4 · Political elections and parties
Maja gillar ett parti i rikspolitiken och ett annat lokalt. Vad gäller för hennes röster i riksdagsvalet och kommunvalet?
Maja likes one party nationally and another locally. What applies to her votes in the Riksdag and municipal elections?
Correct answer: She may choose different parties in the two elections
Each election selects a separate set of representatives. Maja can therefore choose her party separately in parliamentary and municipal elections.

Why this option does not fit
Hennes riksdagsröst räknas också som hennes kommunröst
Riksdag and municipal elections are counted separately. A vote in one does not count in the other.
Hon får bara välja kommunpartier som har riksdagsmandat
A party can stand only in municipal elections. It does not need Riksdag seats for her to vote for it there.
Hon måste välja samma parti i de två valen
Choosing the same party is allowed, but the elections are separate and there is no such requirement.
